The McLaren. The car. The superhero of cars. The car that every man wants to own and that every woman wants to ride in — and drive, boyos, it is 2009, after all. When can we expect a new McLaren, since it is now official that, this year, the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren — which was none too popular — will be no more?
Well, as a matter of fact, there are rumors that 2010 will be the year, although some experts are encouraging fans to keep their drooling in tow until 2012.
Still, let’s get back to that rumor mill, shall we? It happens to be saying that there are already plans for a presently nameless McLaren to be built at the famed facility across the pond in Woking, England. The rumored car is expected to be in competition with the Ferrari F430.
As far as power goes, we can look forward to a massive 550 HP V8 engine. All we can say is, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed.
