05 Jun 10 Jame’s Bond 1964 Aston Martin to go on auction, expected to go for over $5 million
One of the most famous cars in history will be going on sale. The Aston Martin DB5 used by James Bond, played by Sean Connery, will be consigned by the RM Auction house this coming October during their yearly event tagged as Automobiles of London. The movie car used in the Thunderball and Goldfinger offering of the famous James Bond flicks is expected to go for more than $5 million.
The DB5 of James Bond known by its United Kingdom registration FMP 7B is the only 007 Aston Martin DB5 remaining. As you may wonder, the car is fitted with the effects courtesy of academy award winner John Stears for the James Bond films. It was featured in the movie with Q modifications and gadgets like the revolving plate numbers, machine guns, tracking device, nail spreader, oil sprayer, detachable roof panel, smoke screen, and all other contraptions triggered with a flick of a switch on the arm rest.
The DB5 was loaned to the EON Productions for the making of the two movies and later went on tour before returning to the Aston Martin factory. Jerry Lee, a broadcasterd from Philadelphia was able to negotiate with Aston Martin and acquired the 007 DB5 for $12,000 back in 1969.
Today, the only ex-factory owner wants to put on sale the FMP 7B to use the proceeds for charitable work through his Jerry Lee Foundation.
The vehicle was recently restored to its running condition as commissioned by the RM Auction after being in display for years at the home of Mr. Lee.

This picture and the information linked to it is all the result of a fortuitous leak, which forced BMW’s popular Mini division to give up the ghost and release info and pix pertaining to its brand new crossover, the Countryman.
The Mini got its unveiling at the motor show in Geneva.
It is the first of its kind in the Mini world. That is, it is the very first model to feature four doors as well as all wheel drive.
This offers more freedom in terms of capabilities and space. However, all the best characteristics of the Mini brand remain in tact.

You will simply have to forgive me for the sketch of a picture here, but I think you will when you understand what it is and why it is.
You see, this is a sketch of the spanking new Pininfarina Alfa Romeo concept, which arrives right on the edge of the luxurious Pininfarina’s eightieth anniversary. The concept will be unveiled at the upcoming auto show in Geneva.
Built on one of Alfa Romeo’s amazing platforms, the concept also acts as a gift to the manufacturer on the occasion of its one hundredth birthday.
The notorious coachbuilder describes the concept as a part of the well known tradition of Spiders, the result of the relationship between Alfa Romeo and Pininfarina. This partnership has been long lasting and incredibly significant, so much so that it is held up as a prime example in automotive history.
Talk about a dream car!

Now that 2010 is here, it seems like we are constantly looking toward the future. 2011 is almost right around the corner and that is what we are going to focus on when we talk about cars! The brand new, 2011 Lincoln MKX actually rolled out at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show just a few weeks ago and I can tell you for sure that this particular crossover is beautiful!
The 2011 Lincoln MKX Crossover has actually has gone through the biggest amount of updates and it will definitely be one of the most luxurious cross-over vehicles that is coming out. The biggest update in this particular crossover though is the technology that is packed inside.
There is going to be MyLincoln technology, which means that a touchscreen as well as a five-way controller is all going to be in there … meaning you can control everything right from the touchscreen! Pretty cool if you ask me!
All of these dream cars can be yours if you have the money, but beware: before actually buying one of these awesome autos, get a special car insurance quote so you know what your car payments will be like. The beautiful poker player slash genius Vanessa Rousso has just fulfilled one of her life-time dreams by buying a gorgeous yellow Lamborhini Gallardo. Obviously I’m a huge fan of the Gallardo (as it is a true supercar!) – but I’m also a fan of Miss. Rousso.

27 Dec 09 The Peugeot SR1 Is Gonna Steal My Heart
Oh man. Be still my beating heart, but so help me, I am so in love with this car. I don’t even know if I can call it a “dream car,” because I am not even sure I could come up with something so sleek and streamlined and somehow futuristic in my dreams.
You need to keep it hush hush, it has not been officially unveiled yet, but this is the Peugeot SR1 concept, and it is my dream car (well … it is my dream car of the week, but what can I say? I am a girl, it is my prerogative to change my mind on a dime).
Anyway, I love the lines and curves of this car. I love the way the grille and front make it look like it is speeding down the highway even when it is standing still. And bravo for whoever decided to spill the beans using a silver model, because it looks like quicksilver, capable of hitting triple digit speeds in like two seconds flat.

Funke & Will is a German automaker, specializing in specialty sports cars. Why is that important? Because of the Yes! Roadster 3.2 that you see here. Can you say purrrr? I mean, hello. This is like a delicious five course meal on four wheels, y’all. It is like sex on the street. It is just sexilicious!
It is 3809 millimeters in length, 1804 millimeters in width, and it weights 890 kilograms. The engine? A mid mounted 3.2 liter V6 with 255 horsepower. God, it just gets better and better and better and better.
This just about goes beyond the bounds of being a mere sports car, you know what I mean? You can pretty much tell it’s a German car, the design is so sleek and timed to perfection, and even through the photograph you can hear it throbbing along the Autobahn.

This is one car that does not look like a BMW. To me — BMW is a very status type of car and in general, they look old. This is anything but old and you are probably wondering exactly what this car is. Well, it is the G-Power Typhoon X6 M. This beautiful car is not only awesome looking but it is actually one car that can go super fast — thanks to the design of it.
The G-Power Typhoon X6 M was designed with 15% increased airflow to the intercoolers, so that means that this little car’s torque is absolutely incredible. It can get up to about 62 miles per hour in about four and a half seconds. That is saying something right there!
If you want a fast car that also has the BMW stamp of approval on it, the G-Power Typhoon X6 M is definitely the car for you peeps!
